Coconut Candy (Like Almond Joys)


1 c. sugar
1 1/3 c. karo syrup
3/4 c. water
1 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
10 oz. macaroon coconut
6 oz. flake coconut

Cook sugar, karo, and water until it starts to boil.  Wash down sides of pan.  Cook to 218ยบ.  Remove from heat and add flour, vanilla, and both coconuts.  drip by teaspoonful on waxed paper.  As soon as it cools, mold.  Put almond on some and cover with chocolate coating.
